Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

I support the development of the northern runway at Gatwick provided that, if it goes ahead, it will eliminate the need for a new runway at Heathrow. This is on the assumption that the cost of the Gatwick runway will be considerably lower than the cost of the Heathrow runway and associated civil works.
