The amount of regular, low flying or antisocial hours flights is already unacceptable. The peace and quiet of the countryside does not exist as flights are diverted away from urban areas to rural areas, where less complaints are received, due to there being less people. But these very people live in rural areas for a reason, mainly to escape the noise of urban environments. Gatwick is poorly served with infrastructure, the train line and M23 already at breaking point. This is before we even get started on the environmental impact of aircraft. Please, no more.
