There isn't the infrastructure around Gatwick For residents in tunbridge wells and neighbouring villages.... - planes are still loud - flights till 2 am and commence again at 4 am.. this is of real concern as it impacts sleep pattern , mental and physical health ..and that is with one runway let alone two! - flight path not spread enough to evenly distribute the noise and unsociable impact. - planes bank over tunbridge wells which increases the noise level...a whining - flight path very low ..and some of the larger long haul planes are far too low and noise levels very high. - it is appreciated that Gatwick Airport is near and used by many from this area but none of the above concerns have been addressed to date with one runway... so two runways is totally unacceptable
