I have lived in my village for 50 years, having grown up here. The noise pollution from Gatwick, including very late and very early, has grown to almost unbearable levels - any more and it will be unbearable. We also manage a small hospitality business and the guests are routinely disrupted during their retreats (writers retreats, academic retreats) as they seek peaceful time in the lovely gardens. Outdoor plays and music are popular in this area and are severely impacted by even the existing level of flights. There are no financial or any other kind of benefits accruing to this village and the surrounding area and the local town of Edenbridge - more flights will bring only negatives including more through traffic.
