As an Edenbridge resident living close to the river vallay, I experience the regular succession of planes often using the flight path towards Gatwick, sometimes at very low levels. Covid was a magical time when we all realised how peaceful our environment can be without constant plane noise. As a conservationist I believe we should be minimising rather than maximising air travel. This is a rural area where we need to go on living with as high a quality of life as possible and to effectively add a further runway at Gatwick will be a disaster.
