I have been running holiday accommodation for those looking for a short break in the countryside for many years and have been awarded very high star ratings and receive excellent reviews. The main thrust from these reviews is how incredibly quiet and peaceful the countryside is around my area just below Chartwell which is a major tourist attraction. Despite being within an hour of London we do not suffer from undue noisy air traffic over this beautiful unspoilt AONB and National Trust land. That will ALL CHANGE if the second runway encourages a fresh route for take off and landing which will now come directly over this special hidden gem of old England, enjoyed by so many for hundreds of years. Gatwick continues to have a hold over an ever increasing land mass despite supposed Government environmental promises to cut back on long distance imports and needless travel.
