I support the proposal to extend the runway capacity as long as certain conditions are met: 1) All airlines using the airport must publish and maintain an annual statement stating their sustainability road map and publish targets for climate impacting emissions. The statements shall be published on the LGW website and be publicly available for inspection. 2) The airport shall publish an annual climate impact statement which addresses how its operations are impacting: a) Climate impacting emissions and targets for mitigation b) Water management in terms of abstraction, reuse and flooding c) Noise pollution. 3) The airport shall publish a local economic plan summarising economic, social and environmental impact of their current and planned operations.
