NOISE - increase from 286,000 flights to385,000. This will involve daytime and night flights which will disturb our day to day life at home and disturb our sleep which is already happening and will be a lot worse. They are using a 24 hour period with 3 rotations to make a incorrect assessment it should be for each rotation. EMMISSIONS - the layer of pollution is seen in the trails left by the planes. They claim to be creating zero emissions by 2030 but it would be impossible to produce enough green hydrogen fuel as it would take over half the agricultural land in the country. BACKING UP OF PLANES -with the extra flights there will be backing up of planes during any crises or busy periods which will involve the planes circling waiting to land and creating pollution over the local area. BUILD UP OF TRAFFIC - pollution will be created by extra passengers travelling to the airport. We understood that Heathrow won the extra runway. How is it that Gatwick is using the back door to get what they want. It was a government decision that Heathrow should be going ahead. Also Stewart Wingate should not be on the Aviation Council as an executive of Gatwick Airport
