Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

I believe expanding Gatwick Airport by expanding the northern runway will be detrimental to the environment both by increasing the levels of CO2, in the atmosphere and causing considerable disruption through noise and extra road traffic for those inhabitants, who now live near the airport I do not believe this expansion should go ahead. investment should be in other modes of transport, such as trains and buses.
