I have lived in Horsham for over 20 years and have lived in North Horsham for nearly 14 years. Since then, the number of planes flying over my house has increased and the disruption from low flying aircraft is affecting me mentally and emotionally. As a scientist, I also feel that the pollution caused by more planes will have a negative impact on our lives. There are also occasions when I can smell aviation fuel outside my house. When I contact Gatwick Airport they say it’s not caused by planes but the smell of aviation fuel is quite distinct.
