As a small landowner in the neighbouring / surrounding area, I want to know what the impact of the expansion will be. How far will supporting and industrial infrastructure spread from the vicinity of the airport. Are the developers likely to compulsory purchase land for this project, if so, how far from the actual airport itself and how fair will purchase prices be? Who will resolve the road infrastructure that will see increased traffic in the region and I specifically mean local roads, the roads that workers will use to access the airport. Surrounding towns such as East Grinstead are already gridlocked much of the time. It would be foolhardy and objectionable if the developers of this project were not enforced as part of any consent, to once and for all address the issue of traffic into, out of and through the East Grinstead area and other small local towns.
