The extra capacity at Gatwick will improve the UK’s connectivity nationally & internationally and enable a much improved service. The UK has fallen behind other country’s in planned investments and improvements within the airline industry. Sadly this is due to a small number of militant environmentalists who continue to frustrate and discourage development without considering the wider argument Their naive views are in itself incredulous as a more efficient, effective and profitable airline industry and associated business will bring improved and enlarged environmental benefits quicker and faster. This project should be agreed and supported by local councils and national government and the project should commence as soon as possible.
