Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

I am very concerned that opening the Northern runway for routine flights at Gatwick airport will impact on the urgent need to reduce carbon emissions. Why when we’re trying to move away from polluting flights would we want to do something to increase the number of flights coming in and out of Gatwick. I am a GP and I already see the impact of climate change on my patients. Please don’t allow something that will definitely worsen climate heating. It will impact on you and your loved ones soon, if it hasn’t already.
