This is totally unsustainable in terms of the environment and prevention of climate change. It would significantly affect the UKs commitment to combating climate change and sends a very wrong message. There is not sufficient road infrastructure for both employees and users, the South East already is above capacity for traffic, with pollution and quality of life affected. There is not enough housing for the increased population from employees, this will result in further erosion of farmland due to building homes. The continuous noise of planes across the southeast has an unacceptable effect on homes and the peaceful enjoyment of rural areas, the green lungs for the population. Pollution adversely affects the health of the population and the natural environment. The quality of life and wellbeing are not considered by Gatwick's owners, profit is placed above all else. People should not place their own selfish desires above all else by taking fights whenever they want to. To allow this to happen is a giant step towards destruction of the planet by climate criminals.
