Human caused climate change is causing harm to people and environment. A second runway will increase flights and therefore CO2 emitted. I understand that this could be an additional 1.5 MTPA of CO2. These additional CO2 emissions cannot be allowed as these emissions will contribute further to climate change and will be a hinderance in the UK meeting our Net Zero targets. An increase in flights will cause a local impact by increasing noise and local pollution; directly from flights but also from an increase in local traffic from travellers and workers. Pollutants of concern include nitrous oxides and particulates; an increase of which I have a concern will directly impact my health. I am concerned that an increase in noise will affect my health and well-being.
