Significant increase in Aircraft noise (already VERY evident as Gatwick are already routinely using the northern runway at night) Significant increase in aviation pollution at low altitude directly over residential properties Significant increase in danger to local residents with low altitude aircraft approaching directly over properties (the southern runway approach is over agricultural land) Damage to green belt Inability of Gatwick to recruit sufficient staff to operate one runway, under no circumstances should they be allowed to have two runways Insufficient infrastructure both at Gatwick and locally for any airport expansion This proposal is only about financial gain for Gatwick, it is ill conceived, has absolutely no regard for the damage it will do to the environment, no regard for the damage and turmoil it will bring to the local areas and absolutely no regard for any of the people, who's lives will be irreparably impacted by airport expansion!
