Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

As the Chair, Trustee and Director of several cultural, heritage and economic development organisations in Sussex I wish to add my support to the creation of a fully operational northern runway in Gatwick. There is currently substantial opportunity for the Sussex visitor economy to grow exponentially in this post-pandemic period and a new northern runway would be central to achieving this - enabling international visitors much greater access to the region, and right at the heart of it. I fully support Gatwick Airport’s application to operate its northern runway and believe doing so is critical in driving the economic and social prosperity of our region.
