The surrounding area is already highly impacted from the noise and disruption from the airport. Having an expansion in a place that is so far south is not a wise move. Heathrow already has higher capacity and it would be better for the local area not to cause more disruption with more traffic and congestion. So many jobs at the airport are not secure and don't benefit the local community as much as the report says.
