This expansion flies in the face of everything we should be doing with regards to global warming and climate control. We already have a drastic lack of fresh water in the south, so where is this going to come from for the thousands of houses that presumably are going to have to be built for all these airport workers. This is going to double the amount of pollution which again is contrary to what we should be doing, goodness knows we have to pay to enter ULEZ and yet this allows Gatwick to completely counteract that.
