I am opposed to any further development of Gatwick Airport. I am a resident in the area and chose my location so that I could reach London on the Brighton line (for work) and would also be far enough away from LGW as to be unaffected by noise pollution. I was brought up in Ealing and could not believe how badly we were affected by LHR and noise, so I do not want a repeat of this. However, although not on the flight path we are plagued by incoming aircraft especially during the Summer, so I feel that LGW management is unable to control its incoming aircraft. Therefore I am also opposed to any further development which would only exacerbate this issue of uncontrolled development and noise pollution across a wide area. Infrastructure to support LGW is also an issue, because it is not sufficient for current demand, so needs expansion (more development). Further development of LGW will require even more development across the area with a huge increase in traffic, which I am opposed to also.
