I live on the take-off path for Gatwick Airport. The planes fly right over our house since the new takeoff lanes were introduced. Adding an an extra runway will inrease the traffic at the airport his is bad because: 1. Increased air and noise pollution for thousands of people 2. Increased traffic on already full roads in the area 3. Increased flights will attract more 'interline' passengers which are to no economic benefit of the area, only the profits of Gatwick airport 4. Additional flights will degrade the life of many, increase pollution and be bad for the health of many. The expansion should not proceed.
