I’m situated slightly south of the flight path which is currently bearable. Any expansion will have a knock on effect and I’m sure have an impact at some point on my rural idyll. Having spent large amounts of money creating a smaller carbon footprint with groundsource heating and extreme insulation to my property any further airport expansion will just kick that into the long grass. My experience of ~ 50yrs of living around Gatwick area has shown their only interest is £’s with out the slightest bit of concern for its neighbours. So from that alone I’m very much against expansion and would be in favour of them focusing more on noise pollution and reducing their own environmental footprint and not putting more aircraft in the skies around the Surrey and Sussex.
