Adverse impact on the environment particularly increased motor vehicle traffic and emissions from the additional planes. Water neutrality- what are the plans to meet the requirements that the rest of West Sussex have to adhere to? Increasing the number of flights will impact on my sleep which is crucial for physical, emotional and mental health. My village already has a very few hours of peace and this proposal will make it even worse. We don’t have the luxury of a reasonable night curfew in comparison to LHR- why? Why Gatwick? Why bring more people to this area of the country when their local, regional airports should be considered for expansion. As a West Sussex resident and rate payer I wholeheartedly object to the notion of an additional runway at LGW and urge you to consider the opinions of the local residents.
