Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

What is in effect a second runway will further destroy the peace and quiet of this AONB. Gatwick planes create a huge amount of noise, including in the night at times when they are not supposed to be flying, causing lack of sleep, stress and disturbed nights for children. In the day time they disrupt local businesses such as Hever Castle and often make going outside a trial. At a time when pollution is rightly seen as an existential threat to the planet we should all be flying a little less not increasing airport capacity. Expansion really is a complete nono at this time and is fuelled solely by greed and selfishness. The infrastructure round Gatwick is also not able to withstand all the demands this extra runway will put on it.
