UK airports are congested. After Covid, the growth of commercial aviation needs the industrial actors to invest for the commercial demand. It is not acceptable to use only one runway for takeoff and landing in such a busy airport. Cities around the airport such as Brighton is ready to welcome more tourists and the railway connection is also ready. For the confort of the passengers, airlines and workers, this is common sense to think about the opening of the Northern runway. Barcelona airport think about to open a new terminal to absorb the trafic. Please do not let Gatwick miss the opportunity to resolve its major problem.
