I feel that an additional runway and increased volume of air traffic at Gatwick will severely impact Sussex and Surrey, and particularly the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main impacts and issues as follows:- 1) Damage to the environment through increased pollution and noise at a time when we should be reducing the environmental impact of all of our actions 2) Risk to the physical and mental health of individuals through increased pollution and noise 3) Increased traffic in the surrounding area, with extra burden on the already overloaded M25 and increased travel time for those needing to using M23 and M25 for work or other travel 4) Pressure on health services in the local area through increased passenger volumes and larger workforce
