I do not believe this is the right decision for our area. I oppose this Gatwick northern runway application. Inunderstand that it will help jobs and Gatwick to grow. However, the infrastructure of the surrounding areas cannot cope already and Gatwick cannot cope. This is before the new runway. Housing, schools, road conditions, postal deliveries, bus services, parking, size. We do not need any more houses built in this area. We are becoming over populated and the green spaces are being lost, the history of the areas are being lost. The houses that are available are not affordable. The roads are awful and are in need of constant repair. The traffic is horrendous as it is and this will add to it significantly. Air quality will continue to be affected by air pollution and increased traffic. Please think about the world, the people, quality of life, ammenities and infastructure, job security. This is not all about money for the people who live around this area. Please do not continue to ruin the area with more building, more people, more traffic, less history, increased air pollution........ There will be an increase in air traffic noise. I have lived here for 44 years and the noise and amount of air traffic has increased considerably already.
