I wholly object to every aspect of the proposed move of the WWTP to Honey Hill, for the following reasons: 1. There is no operational reason to move as the current WWTP at Milton is fully functioning and was refurbished to last for the next 50 years. 2. The carbon emissions from decommissioning and rebuilding a new WWTP are unconscionable in the middle of a climate crisis. 3. The other environmental impacts are also unconscionable, given the proposed movement of a fully functioning WWTP with no need to move onto green belt, thereby destroying beautiful countryside and the natural habitats. 4. The proposed move is a waste of tax payers money, which is also unconscionable in the middle of a cost of living crisis and forthcoming economic recession. 5. In the very first public consultation the majority of people did not want the WWTP to move and we should not ignore what local people want.
