I am concerned about the impact of site traffic on a busy junction. Honey Hill is the site of an attractive circular walk and is the gateway to the Wicken Fen nature reserve, so there is a loss of amenity to residents. The new site is on chalk rather than clay (as at the current Milton site) which carries an increased risk of contamination to our aquifers. The height and massing of the design is obtrusive and the visitor gallery can hardly be viewed as an essential use of green belt land. Although this is not a planning matter, I am concerned at the wasteful use of public funds to demolish the Milton plant which was extensively modernised in 2014 and supposedly future proofed to 2050.
