Building on Green Belt is contrary to national and local planning policies Construction and operational traffic between Horningsea and Fen Ditton Primary School will impact local traffic flow into and out of Cambridge. The carbon cost of removing and replacing a working sewage works is very detrimental to our future. The construction of new and removal of old site will also be very detrimental to local air quality. Natural drinking water quality of this Principle Chalk Aquifer will be destroyed. The Principal Chalk Aquifer prevents any deep construction work thus making the new plant more visible on the natural horizon. Impacts the Wicken Fen Vision and approach to the historic city of Cambridge from the East. Public rights of way and permissive ways will no longer be used by the public which were much used during Covid times. It will endanger Quy Fen - a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Arable farmland and Green Belt should not be sacrificed for this kind of development. It will ruin the landscape from flat fenland to intrusive industrial buildings. It will have a detrimental affect on wildlife and biodiversity It is morally wrong to give 227 million pounds of tax payers money to a private company
