I object to the relocation of the waste water treatment plant in Cambridge for the following reasons: The existing plant is in use, it is fully operational and is not at full capacity. Relocating the plant will result in creating another brownfield on a beautiful green belt site which is only a mile away. It is entirely unnecessary. In my opinion, the proposal is worse than simply building a new development on the green belt site. Spending such money does more harm than good. It does not benefit the economy nor the environment either.
